Our Story

Hi, I'm Tanara the creator of Everything Holistic. As long as I can remember I've always found joy in creating self care. As a teenager I suffered from exzema and the painful rashes that came along with it. I tried every drug store product and every cream the doctor prescribed only to be disappointed that nothing ever soothed me the way I needed.

I started experimenting with natural alternatives that I learned about from online research, herbal and remedy books, and through out my travels. Then my love of the body lead me to Graduated from Elizabeth Grady School of Massage and Esthetics where I learned about the human body as an entire entity, and how to heal it from a holistic point of view. With the knowledge I attained combined with my love for self care I've picked up a lot of natural tips and tricks to taking care of our bodies without spending or doing too much. Everything Holistic is my way of sharing these fun and amazing products and rituals with you, starting with Glow Butter. 

I created the original Glow Butter recipe in 2017, I made it right in my mother's kitchen and it was only intended for my own personal use. I chose to use cocoa butter instead of shea butter because my mother used to buy drug store cocoa butter and it always smelled better than everything else (I'd learn later that it was the best natural butter for all skin types). I use raw unrefined cocoa butter and melted it down, the only thing added to the original recipe was coconut oil but as time passed I learned about the healing properties of other base and essential oils. I learned more about cocoa butter, its texture, and its royal history and my recipe kept getting better and better each year. Now, it's a perfect rich and irresistible blend that helps you glow from the inside out.
